Charlie Zahm is recognized as one of the strongest voices in the world of Celtic and Maritime music today. He has gained wide popularity as a soloist at Celtic music festivals, Scottish Games and Maritime music events throughout the eastern United States and Canada. Charlie's rich, powerful baritone voice has made him one of the most successful performers on the Celtic festival circuit, weaving magical moments of history for the listener and viewer, with passion for the performance and a chosen repertoire pleasing to all ages. His mastery of the guitar, love and respect for the music he sings, and dashes of humor and the light in his eyes will draw you into the stories of his songs.
Charlie recently released his thirteenth and fourteenth CD's, "Americana" and "Out of the Mist". He has been a featured performer at the Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival each year since its inception in 1994. Visit Charlie's web site at www.charliezahm.com

Zoë Darrow and the Fiddleheads
We are pleased to welcome for the first time these talented, vibrant Celtic performers. Zoë Darrow and the Fiddleheads is a traditional Celtic band from Blandford, MA, featuring fiddle, guitar and piano. Zoë, 14 years old, began fiddling when she was 4 years old and now leads the trio in Scottish, Irish and Cape Breton fiddle tunes. The group has been performing publicly since 1999. Zoë's fiddling, step dancing, and charming persona add up to a show that has been pleasing audiences throughout New England and Prince Edward Island. They have performed as part of the City Block summer lunchtime series in Springfield, Northampton Brewery, Agawan Summerfest, Northampton Academy of Music, and the White Church Community Center Deerfield just to mention a few. They were also recently featured in concert at the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton, MA.

The Holyoke Caledonian Pipe Band is the oldest continuously active pipe band in North America. They are a familiar sight to many in Western Massachusetts through their participation in numerous parades and festivals. The pipe band's association with the Glasgow Lands Festival began in 1994 and has been heartily welcomed by Festival attendees.
