Athletic Games

The Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival Games are run by Wayne Hill.
We have three divisions: Amateurs, Women and Masters.

In general, the day’s overall schedule depends on the number of athletes and the
number of events held, as determined by the athletic director.
Typically, the games start around 0900 and last until all athletes get 3 attempts at each event.
The typical order of events may be as follows:

EVENTS THIS YEAR
Braemer Stone
Open Stone
Light Weight for Distance
Heavy Hammer
Caber
Weight over Bar

(Men's and Women's Division champions shall be awarded along with the top performers of the regular competition events.)

Some of the top athletes in the U.S. will be competing, including some world record holders.

For information or to register, contact Wayne at (508) 366-8730 (evenings) or (508) 963-6044
